Sessions Rules:
• First Timers and Returnees: First-time participants and those who have taken a break from sessions will be observed and invited to join coaching sessions before they can participate in any intermediate coaching, men’s coaching, or games. This ensures we can assess their skill level and readiness for further involvement.
• Advanced Sessions: Participation in advanced sessions is by invitation only, extended at the discretion of Little Giants staff.
• Intermediate Sessions: Participation in intermediate coaching and games may be revoked if additional training or intermediate sessions are missed, especially if attending such sessions is required to continue participating in Intermediate games. New intermediate members must attend a coaching session and at least three consecutive sessions to guarantee their spot in the Intermediate games-only sessions.
• Extended Leave or Absence: Players on extended leave or absence must contact Little Giants VC prior to attending a session. This will determine if additional coaching is required before returning to regular participation.
• Bookings: All bookings, including those for tournaments, volleyball camps, monthly memberships, 1-on-1 coaching, and team membership fees, are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.
• Social Sessions: Social session bookings are exchangeable if we are contacted at least 24 hours before attendance. Payment can be transferred to another date within 30 days of the original booking.
• Cancellations and Refunds: If a session is postponed or cancelled, Little Giants VC will contact participants to reschedule. Participants must monitor their emails, as last-minute cancellations may occur. In the event of such cancellations, refunds will be provided, and participants will be informed no later than 1 hour before the session.
Insurance
Participant personal injury insurance is not provided by Little Giants Volleyball Club. If participants wish to be insured against personal injury, they are advised to arrange their own personal injury insurance to cover them during our events.
Waiver
By entering and participating in Little Giants Volleyball Club Limited activities, you accept the following Waiver, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement:
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the upcoming games/sessions and associated events provided and hosted by Little Giants Volleyball Club, I hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:
1. I understand the nature of the activities and acknowledge my experience and capabilities, believing I am qualified to participate. I am aware that these activities will be conducted in public facilities, and if at any time I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation.
2. I fully understand that:
• The activities involve risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, blindness, paralysis, and death (“Risks”).
• These risks may result from my actions, inactions, those of others, the conditions in which the activities take place, or the negligence of the Releasees (defined below).
• There may be other risks and losses, social or economic, not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time.
• I fully accept and assume all such risks and responsibilities for losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of my participation.
3. I hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue, and agree to hold harmless Little Giants Volleyball Club Limited, its owner(s), administrators, directors, agents, officers, volunteers, employees, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, and the owners and lessors of premises where activities take place (collectively, the “Releasees”) from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages caused or alleged to be caused by negligence or otherwise, including rescue operations. If, despite this release, a claim is made against any of the Releasees, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless from any litigation expenses, loss, liability, damages, or costs.
4. Late Arrival: Participants arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time may be denied entry to the session at the coach’s discretion, without eligibility for a refund or a session exchange.
I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT. I HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. IF ANY PORTION OF THIS AGREEMENT IS HELD TO BE INVALID, THE REMAINING PORTION SHALL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude the liability of the Releasees for any death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and all parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
