The London Giants men’s team demonstrated their skill and determination by securing direct promotion in the regional league in London and earning their place in the Premiership. Additionally, they finished in a playoff position in the prestigious National English Volleyball League and emerged victorious at the playoffs held by Volleyball England on May 13 at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering. This hard-fought victory earned them a promotion to the renowned First League, just one division below the top league, the Super League, in the UK.
Similarly, the London Giants women’s team had achieved a second-place finish in the regional league, London. Their remarkable display of talent and teamwork culminated in a victory in the playoffs held on May 14, which secured them a coveted position to compete in the Premiership in the London League in the upcoming season. The London Giants club is extremely proud of the accomplishments of both senior teams, with both consisting of some of the club’s juniors, which bodes well for the future.
