London under 15 boys Grand Prix at Southgate College Giants U15 boys teams finish second and third
Saturday December 14th provided a day of non-stop entertainment for the players and their many supporters and culminated in an exciting final between Giants U15 boys and Richmond. In front of a huge crowd both teams were justifiably nervous at times but the standard of volleyball was a thing to behold.
A number of teams from across the capital had played their way through pool groups and then on to position play offs , all hosted by Barnet VC. They were drawn from hosts Barnet VC, Little Giants VC, and Richmond VC. All appear to have enjoyed the day, benefitted from the competition and are looking forward to the next leg. "Giants boys were delighted," Çisel Ormancı said afterwards. "It’s a great achievement considering Giants U15 boys teams have only played together as a team for less than a year.”
